I am a REALTOR who is certified with Knox Heritage as a Historic Home Specialist. I enjoy helping people market their existing home and helping buyers find their new "old" home. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the historic Candoro Marble Company and I have a couple of old houses myself.
What a quick response! SO glad to hear from you, and I look forward to your house party! Doug will want to hear from you too so here's his email address: DouglasKeeling@yahoo.com
He also has a work email at the library but I can't find it. Have you moved house lately? Where are you?
I was glad to see Ron Sharpe's pretty face on Restore Knoxville. It has been a while since I talked to him. It's good to see that NYC hasn't gotten him down.
Patrick, I was in several shows at UT in the 80s. I can't remember for sure whether any were fully-staged G & S shows. I did drive a black 1961 Chrysler New Yorker. Maybe it's me you remember or maybe somebody else.
Hi there! I actually walked around that house on Jefferson today...I'm interested in buying a fixer-upper in Parkridge, but I think it's out of my price range for how much it's listed at.....nice home though! :)

Thanks Patrick, This is my East Tennessee Federal impression for the civil war. Thus pre-Victorian.
Hi, yeah, actually a few years ago there was a blurb in the News Sentinel about the Candora building. I can't remember the purpose of the article but there was a small 'open house' type event where people came down and looked around the building. I got to see it at that time. It is really impressive and a reminder that they don't build commercial structures like that anymore. As for a Vestival, I have never been, sadly.
Hi Patrick & Welcome to Restore Knoxville! I'm curious about the house you have in your pictures, can you tell me where that is or send me the MLS#. I've got clients looking and that might be a possibilty. Thanks, Stephanie
